The Agua Boa Cultivando program consists of various actions and projects taking place in parallel, in a movement of continuous participation with all the people involved.
To manage and support this action, a business model was structured in four strategic components :
This model was designed to address the problem diagnosed in the area of influence of the lake dam. The methodology is so effective that “Cultivando Agua Boa” has become a transformative movement in and through communities.
The essence of this management model is to take the Parana River Basin 3 (PB3) as a reference for action. The program defines its actions in a territoriality established by nature itself : a watershed. A definition that transcends the political and administrative division of municipalities and can act where the problems really are.
In practice, the implementation of the program begins with the selection of micro-basins, followed by meetings with communities and their leaders to educate and inform on the “Cultivando Agua Boa” program. The creation of management committees follows. Then begins the dynamics of Workshops of the Future, which raise issues and identifies corrective measures to put in place.
In the end, the Waters Pact is celebrated, a commitment signed by the mayor and the other partners involved in the projects.
